Fumba Beach Lodge

Fumba Beach Lodge lies on the Fumba peninsula south of Stone Town and is convenient to get to from both airport and ferry port. The lodge lies in its own forty acres of untouched wilderness, part of the Meani Conservation Area, and is surrounded by tropical forest and quiet sandy beaches. The lodge boasts 26 large rooms, all of which are ensuite. Twenty of these rooms are their comfortable deluxe bandas, each of which has a spacious ensuite bathroom, a private terrace, and a great view of the sea. These rooms are perfect for families, having large beds, mosquito nets and fans to ensure a cool breeze. The lodge also has six luxury suites, two set wrapped around large ancient baobab trees! Fumba has a lovely horizon swimming pool and of course sits on its own stretch of pristine white sandy beach. The lodge offers a range of watersports including snorkelling and diving from its own dhow, and also has kayaks and windsurfs for hire for the active ones in the family!
