Amani & Pangani Short Break

On this short safari you and your family will travel in your own private safari vehicle to the beautiful biodiversity hotspot of Amani Nature Reserve for a couple of nights in the mountain forest – although in comfort in the chalets of Amani Forest Camp! You will have the chance to enjoy night walks and chameleon and tree frog sptting. Amani is also an important birding area with numerous endemic species. There is also the opportunity to hike to viewpoints high in the mountains and tea plantations.

After the mountains you will make the short drive to Pangani where you will settle into the comfort of Mkoma Bay Tented Lodge. After a superb lunch you can explore the white sand beaches, caves and mangroves. The next day you will take a boat out to the nearby marine reserve of Maziwe Island.
